PYF Saltires are targeting a fifth-straight Super League title after a perfect season last time out.

Twelve wins from twelve also saw an incredible 174 goals scored along the way.

That domination brought another UEFA Futsal Champions League challenge.

PYF’s trip to Slovakia began with two tough defeats but finished on a high with Scotland’s biggest win in Europe, a 6-0 win over Andorran side Encamp.

The side to beat, can they keep the wins coming?

What they said

PYF Saltires skipper Kyle Ballingall said: “We’re feeling good.

“We know the league will be a lot more intense, a lot more difficult this year so we’ve prepared well over the summer.

“We had to get ready for the Champions League as well so that’s helped us get ready for the challenges ahead.

“Three teams got promoted and Edina merged with Escocia so there’s a new look to the league.

“Aberdeen won the Scottish Cup, Joga ran rampant in their league and Edinburgh University and Escocia fought hard in the Edinburgh league.

“So I think all the teams coming up will improve the standard, will improve the league.

“We’ll have to match that and maintain our standards as well.

“It’ll be a different season for us but we’re ready to tackle it.”
