Aberdeen City

Aberdeen City are a regional 11-a-side football team who have consistently shown an interest in futsal when opportunities have arisen. They first took part in futsal in 2022 at the Scossie Cup, organised by Youth Football Scotland, and have since played friendlies against teams such as Aberdeen Futsal Academy. Alongside this, they have performed strongly in their regional league and reached the Under-18 Scottish Cup Final.

Aberdeen Futsal Academy

Aberdeen Futsal Academy Women are the current Scottish Champions. Formed at the end of 2023, they were among the first women’s futsal teams in Scotland. The squad includes players from a variety of footballing backgrounds, trains at St Machar Academy in Aberdeen, and welcomes new players to join.

Canning Academy

Canning Academy are involved in futsal development and compete across Scottish futsal competitions, supporting the growth of the women’s game.

Stirling University Futsal Team

Stirling University Futsal Team is made up of university students who compete in Tier 1 of the Scottish University Futsal League. Players come from a range of football backgrounds and train alongside their university football programmes.

Strathclyde University

Strathclyde University Futsal Team competes in Tier 1 of the Scottish University Futsal League. The team brings together players from a variety of football backgrounds both within and outside the university.

Edinburgh Inter are a competitive women’s futsal team based in Edinburgh, bringing together players with experience across football and futsal competitions.

Tay City Strollers are a walking football team based in Perth who have chosen to take on a new challenge by entering the Women’s Scottish Futsal Cup, focusing on futsal development in training.
