What they said
Aberdeen Futsal Academy's Grant Campbell said: “We’ve been really fortunate with good sponsors and partners in RGU so we can enter the Super League and play home matches in Aberdeen.
“It’s really exciting for us and we’re really looking forward to getting going and testing ourselves against the best teams in the country.
“We aim to be competitive in every game we play – that’s been our aim from the start.
“The characters we have in the team are guys who like to win.
“We know there are teams we’ve never seen before so we’ll have to figure that out.
“Our Scottish Cup run was enjoyable. We were playing teams who had played a lot more futsal than us so it was a bit of a learning curve. No doubt we’ll find the same in the Super League.”

But they may have a noisy support cheering them on during home matches at Robert Gordon University.
“It’s going to be fantastic,” Campbell added.
“Thanks to help from our sponsor Azets, we have an hour of court time before any Super League match and we’re hoping to get as many kids involved as possible.
“Mainly coming to our own youth sessions but with the idea of how many we can get to stay behind and watch the games.
“We’re going to do our best to create a bit of an atmosphere.”
